I am a certified birth doula through Childbirth International and have been serving families in the Boston area since early 2021. I realized my desire to be a doula while aspiring to be a researcher who analyzed and reported on birth experiences. I am nourished by empowering expectant families to achieve their birth goals. In addition to being a birth doula, I am a certified lactation counselor (CLC), assisting with breastfeeding initiation in the hospital and following-up at home.
I've kept one foot in academic research as an OB/GYN researcher at a Boston Hospital and enjoy sharing my exceptional perspective as an active birth worker plus clinical researcher with families.
When I'm not doulaing I enjoy hand embroidery, crocheting, practicing tarot readings, and energy healing (Reiki). I live in Cambridge with my husband and two pups.
