Amber Matteson, FULL SPectrum Doula

I’m Amber, a queer full-spectrum doula and childbirth educator. I have a deep passion for social & racial justice as well as sexual, pelvic, and perinatal health. I combine all of this to be the best advocate I can for my clients. ​

It is my fundamental belief that all who are pregnant should be treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and autonomy. Each person should be supported in their choices. My work is trauma-informed, HAES (Health at Every Size) centered, lived experience-informed, and evidence-based. I believe in a gentle, supportive, and educational approach to working with my clients.

​I serve the greater Boston, south shore, and Providence areas. Outside of birth work, I love spending time with my partner and four cats! I enjoy dancing, am an avid reader, and spend lots of time in nature.
