Nicole Brown, CPD, LE (She/Her)
Hi, I'm Nicole!
I’m a CAPPA certified postpartum doula and trained lactation educator with a deep passion for supporting families during the transformative early weeks and months after birth.
Becoming a postpartum doula truly feels like finding my dream job. I’ve always joked that I wanted to be a “professional baby snuggler,” but I never realized that was actually a career path until my sister introduced me to postpartum doula work. From the very beginning, I knew this was where I was meant to be, supporting parents, caring for babies, and helping families feel confident and nurtured during such an important season.
I bring over 14 years of experience in education, child development, and infant support. My background includes working as a special education teacher and developmental specialist in Early Intervention. I also have experience working with medically complex babies and have completed NICU training, giving me additional knowledge and confidence in supporting families who may need extra care, reassurance, and guidance after a complicated birth or NICU stay.
In addition, I am a pediatric sleep consultant, helping families establish healthy sleep habits by implementing sleep conditioning strategies that promote independent sleep and set the family up for long-term success before my time with them comes to an end.
When I’m not caring for babies, I enjoy spending my time at home with my husband and my three amazing children, ages 9, 8, and 4. Being a mother has given me an even deeper appreciation for the vulnerability, exhaustion, joy, and love that come with welcoming a new baby. I understand that every postpartum experience is unique, and my goal is to meet you exactly where you are with flexibility, compassion, and a calm, supportive presence.
I feel incredibly grateful to do the work I love and to be welcomed into families during one of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.
