Hi, I'm Kyra !
As a former public school teacher, I have taken my extensive background in education and advocacy into my work as a full spectrum doula. Specializing in families who often don't feel seen in the medical or birth systems, my care for you is individualized to meet your unique needs throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Taking a trauma-informed and education-centered approach, I ensure that you feel confident in making the informed decisions that align with your desires while also supporting you in navigating the medical system.
Coming from a medical family, but also as someone with a background in herbs who is currently pursuing a doctorate in acupuncture, my approach is truly holistic, evidence-based, and holds space for wherever you feel like you land on the medical to holistic wellness spectrum. I am a firm believer that medicine and holistic care can work together and that only you know what is right for you and your family.
While I truly love working with all clients and families, I specialize in first time parents, queer folks, Disabled/chronically ill folks, those with a history of substance use, and those navigating their journey while carrying grief or loss.
