Bethany Leclerc, CD(DONA), CLC, APPAC
Hi, I'm Bethany!
As a proud Mama of 3 amazing children, I am more than grateful to have fallen upon my greatest passion in such a natural way, through growing my family. My desire to be surrounded by all things birth began to take shape during my first pregnancy and then solidified during his birth. After becoming a certified DONA doula in 2015 and having my own children, I became interested in other ways I could support families. In the last five years I became an APPA certified placenta encapsulator, a childbirth educator, and more recently a certified lactation counselor (CLC). Before becoming a doula my path was infused with the arts with a bachelors degree in dance and a Masters in Arts Administration. The beauty of what I do now is being able to continue to see people expressing themselves in their truest form during one of the most important moments of their life. I strive to continue to help everyone I work with know their own power, voice and ability to give birth. Watching families grow and seeing their transition into parenthood has been an honor I am continually grateful and blessed to be a part of.
Becca Schillaci, Professional Doula (ToLabor)
Hi, I'm Becca!
The birth of my son was an amazing and powerful experience, made perfect by the support of my loving husband and calming sister. That life-changing, intense, and positive event inspired me to become a birth doula; to be a sister-like presence for other families, who shares in the trust of a birthing person’s intuition and patience for the process of birth. Before becoming a doula, I had a career as a cognitive developmental psychologist and an education researcher, with my masters in developmental science. I am mom to three fantastic kiddos and wife to a talented woodworker and certified herbalist. My passion for supporting families as a doula has developed from my background and feeds into my day to day life. I bring the "geekiness" of a researcher to share evidence-based information and to keep learning about labor and birth. I bring trust in natural processes from my own three births and my husband's herbal work. I truly feel called to my doula practice! I get so much joy from serving families – supporting folks in exactly the way they need in this moment.
Colleen Andrade, PPD, LE
Hi, I'm Colleen!
Working with children and their families has been my life’s work, whether being a center-based teacher or in-home care. My biggest and greatest accomplishment has been becoming a mother to my two boys. Being a postpartum doula and lactation educator is another way to share in these magical times and help families adjust to life with a newborn. Having experienced vastly different prenatal, birth, and postpartum experiences with both of my sons, this lit the passion in me to help others during this time when things can be unexpected. Training through CAPPA (Childbirth & Postpartum Professional Association) solidified all the reasons why I want to continue to help support families and be a part of their amazing journey as their family grows. My hands-on experience, becoming a mother and working as a teacher, has shown me just how different each baby and family are. I look forward to sharing your unique beginning with you, creating success in your parenting journey.

"During labor Bethany helped us keep our cool when things felt impossible. The ambiance she created, the encouragement and the reminder to change positions made us feel that we were in control of our experience. We couldn't be happier to have had Bethany there for us during what felt like a scary and overwhelming time in our lives."
- Andrea Noble
"[Becca] is warm, empathetic, knowledgeable and very caring. Before the birth of our son, she spent time getting to know me and my husband, our preferences, thoughts, concerns and questions about birth. This being our first child, we had many questions and she had patience, information and resources to help us."
